How to Play

Fast tactical duel

Win by capturing opponent Master or by moving your Master onto enemy Temple arch (center square of back row).

Setup

Each side starts with 4 Pawns + 1 Master on back row.

Each side holds 2 movement cards, plus 1 spare card beside board.

Read a movement card

Gold dot = your piece position
Green dots = legal destinations
Top side cards appear flipped

Turn Loop

Pick card from your 2 cards.
Move piece using that pattern.
Rotate cards: played card becomes spare, old spare goes opponent.

Stone the Stream

Capture opponent Master.

Way of the Stream

Move your Master onto enemy Temple arch.

Quick Tips

Cards cycle. Plan 2 turns ahead.
Pawns can capture too. Use them to trade tempo.
Temple rush often wins faster than chase.

Flight LAN Setup

Before flight: open Onitama once on each phone while online, then install to Home Screen (PWA).

On flight: connect both phones to same hotspot/WiFi (internet not required).

In game: Multiplayer → LAN Direct → Host taps Host LAN and shows Host QR. Joiner scans and taps Join LAN, then shows Answer QR. Host scans Answer QR.
